Steven Randall " Randy " Jackson was born on October 29, 1961 in Gary , Indiana. He is the youngest brother. He wasn't old enough to join his brothers Mazi Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael in "The Jackson Five", a singing group formed by their father Joseph . Later, after they went to Motown and went to Epic Records, Jermaine decided to stay in Motown and do a solo career, so Randy replaced him and the brothers changed their names to " The Jacksons ". They released their " Triumph " album," Destiny " album, and " Victory ". Some of their singles were" Can You Feel It", "Shake Your Body ( Down To The Ground)", This Place Hotel( a.k.a Heartbreak Hotel)", Enjoy Yourself ", and " Blame It On The Boogie ". In 1986, Randy started dating Alejandra Oaziaza. They had two children together: Genevieve Katherine Jackson ( born on December 3, 1989), and Steven Randall Jackson Jr. ( born on October 2, 1991). Alejandra later married Randy 's older brother Jermaine in 1995. Randy married Eliza Shaffe in August 1989. They only had one child: Stevanna Jackson ( born on June 17, 1990). Randy 's brother Michael died of propofol intoxication on June 25, 2009.
